I just re-listened to this week’s episode. You mention Dr. Tom Hawkins. He was my pastor in Robins, IA in the late 1960s and early 70s. He taught my boys SS class and was instrumental in leading me to the Lord! Wow, small world. He also led my parents to the Lord.

I also have a question for you that I hope you might be able to answer. Revelation 6:2 mentions a bow, “toxon” 5115 in Strong’s. Why do we insist on translating that as a hunting bow or a rainbow when it seems to be intended to mean a simple fabric? Or does it mean something else?

It means “bow.” Strong’s is a good tool, but it’s not perfect.
