We explain why we should be looking at supernatural north, not a compass point. Ezekiel, like Isaiah, recognized that the great enemy of God would come from yarkete tsaphon, Mount Zaphon — the mountain on which the pagan neighbors of ancient Israel believed the palace of Baal was located.
